Details
The heart of the Helios's extraordinary design and performance is Spherical Technology, which utilizes a ball-and-socket design powered by Mips, the market-leading brain protection system that can help to reduce rotational forces. Spherical Technology allows the helmet's outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash, and also allows Progressive Layering of the inner and outer liners to provide more comprehensive protection and performance. In addition to advanced head protection, the Helios's 15 Wind Tunnel vents provide exceptional cooling power that's enhanced by our patented Roc Loc 5 Air fit system and plush, antimicrobial XT2 padding for exceptional sweat absorption. It's the ideal match for your road and gravel adventures.
Key Features
- Spherical Technology - Ball-and-socket design powered by Mips allows the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during impact, helping redirect forces away from the brain and eliminating contact with hard slip-planes against the skin.
- Progressive Layering - Dual-density EPS foam liners manage both high- and low-speed impacts for advanced energy absorption and comprehensive protection.
- Mips Brain Protection System - Engineered to reduce rotational forces during certain impacts, enhancing rider safety while meeting and exceeding stringent standards.
- Wind Tunnel Internal Channeling - Internal airflow system works with large vents to drive cool air over the scalp and expel heat, delivering powerful cooling performance.
- Roc Loc 5 Air Fit System - Suspends the helmet slightly off the skull to boost airflow and cooling. Offers one-handed fit tension and tilt adjustment for superior comfort and stability.
- Ionic+ Padding - Infused with pure silver for natural, permanent odor protection to keep the helmet feeling fresh ride after ride.
