The Shimano Ultegra BR-R8010 Direct Mount brake offers the same beautiful sleek design as the BR-R8000, making it compatible with larger tire sizes such as 28C thanks to narrower gaps between the arms. The brake mounts of BR-R8010 connect directly to the frame, reducing redundant parts and increasing overall braking performance.
The brake is delivered with R55C4 brake shoes that are only for aluminum rims. The direct-mount design is perfect for aero frames.
